Synopsis[]
A regular day begins until a mysterious Black Hole has appeared towards the Space Star Village, sucking every Star Teenieping and the planets in! This brings off a new adventure with Romi and Heartsping on Harmony Town with 3 Royal Teeniepings to help them out! Will they be able to catch all the Star Teeniepings and restore peace?

Shimmerping
The Royal Star Teenieping of Healing. She radiates kindness and femininity, with a deep sensitivity to small things. Often misunderstood because of her beauty, she has a surprisingly subtle side. Her genuine compassion is evident, and she often finds herself moved to tears by even the simplest moments.
Sparkleping
The Royal Star Teenieping of Wishes. Always confident and full of energy, she has a tomboyish personality. While she projects an image of fearlessness, there’s a surprising timidity beneath the surface. She thrives on standing out and often seeks the spotlight, believing that the more unique they are, the better she’ll shine. A self-proclaimed narcissistic evangelist, she encourages not just herself but also her friends to embrace self-love, championing the idea that everyone should celebrate their individuality.
Twinkleping
The Royal Star Teenieping of Brightness. Immaculate, bright, and unassuming, she’s a mysterious nerd with a wealth of knowledge. When she’s with friends, her behavior can be unpredictably erratic. She nods along, appearing engaged, but often struggles to grasp what’s really being said.

Objects[]
Shooting Star Pact
A tool that helps Romi transform into a princess, it can also identify a Teenieping by drawing a pentagram with a pen, and can catch a certain Teenieping. This can also track footprints of a Teenieping that have gone invisible.
Star Heart Beam
A tool that can perform magic to assist in catching Teeniepings. It can also create a beam to expose the location of a Teenieping when they've gone into hiding by being invisible.
Celestial
A castle originally located at the center of the Space Star Village, but after the village is being sucked up by a black hole, the Shooting Star Pact seals the castle inside in order to protect it. Afterwards, Romi places the castle into the stands of Heartrose and it's later updated by Dr. Monziu, serving as a residency for the Star Teeniepings to stay.

- On March 6, 2024, an article was posted saying that Catch! Teenieping’s fifth season and a new IP targeting girls with a higher target age group (later revealed to be Wish Cat) will be introduced within the third quarter.
- Due to the release of the first Catch! Teenieping movie (Heartsping: Teenieping of Love), it is scheduled to air in the fourth quarter, later than the previous seasons.
- On June 25, 2024, the Season 5's title and 23 new Teeniepings, a new awakened version of Heartsping called Star Heartsping, 5 transformation forms of Romi in the 5th season, and a new character, Noah, were revealed on the copyright registration site.
- Star Heartsping's appearance was pre-released by the Product Safety Information Center around July 2024.
- The logo was leaked on July 15, 2024 on Cyprus (a patent information search site).
- On August 7, 2024, some of the figures were leaked from the Product Safety Information Center.
- On August 15, 2024, MBC News announced that Season 5 will premiere in October.
- From September 4 to 6, 2024, Shimmerping, Sparkleping, and Twinkleping were previewed on Instagram. Following the previous work, there is no male Royal Teenieping.
- On October 4, 2024, the opening was released on the official YouTube channel, which revealed the appearances of all the Star Teeniepings, including Princeping and Auroraping.
Trivia[]
- This is the first season to not use clips from the episodes when introducing the Royal Teeniepings in the theme song.
- This is also the first season to have a unique outro, not featuring the book in the beginning of the episodes.
- This is the second season when Romi has to catch more than 15 Tenniepings ever since Season 1.
- She has to catch 18 Teeniepings.
